The image from Crafty Individuals was stamped in StazOn Black onto Shimmery White paper then sponged with Summer Sun & Groovy Guava. I added a gold brad to the center of the flower and Fruit Punch Stickles to the butterfly.
The background paper is Barely Banana which I ran through my Big Shot using the Cuttlebug Jamara Embossing Folder. I then applied Folk Art Acrylic Paint in Metallic Pure Gold to highlight the embossing.
I distressed a piece of Groovy Guava paper and assembled my card.

ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteI have been in the land of the lost!!!! I was extremely busy finishing the school year. As if that was not enough to keep me occupied, I moved my stamping room downstairs! I am slowly coming to life again and visiting my favorite blogs. I wished you lived closer because I would love to meet you, stamp with you, and visit you gorgeous gardens.
I will visit on a more regular basis now.
What a delight for the eyes!

ReplyDeleteLovely card. I like your color combo and the different techniques you used. I haven't tried paint to highlight an embossed image, but it sure adds a pretty depth to your card.
