One of the roses I have in my gazebo garden is a David Austin 'Abraham Darby'. This English rose bears sumptuous, cup-shaped blossoms of peachy apricot with hints of yellow and pink. Perfumed with a heavenly fruity fragrance.
A closer look at the pretty blossom.
I hope your day is filled with roses. I am linking with my garden friends at:
I used to have an Abraham Darby rose and I had to remove it to make some changes in the garden...like your, it was a wonderful, huge, beautiful rose, I think maybe I need to find a spot for another one. Have a lovely day!
Hi Donna I only have one slightly fragrant rose that is the climber New Dawn so I'll have to enjoy the beauty and fragrance of yours. Austins are certainly known for their high perfume content. Thanks for sharing the Abraham Darby. Judith
Hi Donna, I see that you have quite a lot of beautiful roses blooms. Although we can grow roses here, normally the blooms are not big except for those grown in highlands at cooler temperature.
Such a lush blossom. Love you roses.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rose. Love the color and fullness.
