Welcome friends to Easter tea which is being hosted by Sandi @ Rose Chintz Cottage. My tea table is set and the kettle is on so please sit and join me.
This little teapot is a precious tribute to Easter past. With his blossom filled crocus basket, he is the perfect compliment to our plaid napkin. Oh, how I love the vintage look to him!
Crocus teacups await Earl Grey tea with cranberry muffins in the oven. A purple pansy with a cheery face peeks over the rim.
"Easter is a time to rejoice, be thankful, be assured that all is forgiven so life extends beyond the soil of earth." ~ Byron Pulsifer
This pressed glass crocus basket holds a sweet chocolate bunny. Pressed glass became popular in America in the 1820s.
Today I have my mother's bible. It was given to her by my late grandfather on December 25, 1955 and passed down to me. One of the few precious items I have from her.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and that your baskets are filled with joy and smiles! I'm joining Ms. Jenny for Alphabe-Thursday for the letter "T" this week as well as the following tea parties:
Tuesday Cuppa Tea @ Antiques and Teacups
Tea Cup Tuesday @ Martha's Favorites
Tea Cup Tuesday @ Artful Affirmations
Friends Sharing Tea @ Bernideen's Tea Time Blog
Table Top Tuesday @ A Stroll Thru Life
