A Pretty Dress

I knew it wouldn't take me long to create another card using the Spellbinders Dress Forms dies.  As I was piecing together the dress it reminded me of playing with paper dolls as a little girl :-)

The scalloped hem dress was put through the Big Shot three times using Blushing Bride, DCWV The Luxury Stack and Kaisercraft English Rose paper.  To make the apron I used the lattice dress die and snipped off the top portion.  A piece of 1/8" satin ribbon creates a pretty belt.  Tiny soft pink rhinestones mimic a necklace with larger rhinestones at the bottom of the apron.  The dress was popped off of the Kaisercraft English Rose paper.  I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous roses at the bottom.  Crinkled seam binding and an angelica rose add a vintage touch.

Friend was stamped in VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder and a heat gun.  I distressed the Blushing Bride and designer paper then sponged on ColorBox Creamy Brown ink.  Everything was mounted to a natural linen white card.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fun, crafty day.  I will be linking with Make It Monday.
