The Tailored Tea

Welcome to tea my friends.  Last Saturday was such a beautiful day I convinced my hubby to take me to The Tailored Tea House for brunch.  Isn't the green button on their sign just adorable?

Ebenezer Hills, a Revolutionary War veteran built the house in 1806.  This Federal Style farmhouse has been renovated and restored with the original floors intact.

Please join us while we take a peek inside ...

Tea was served in Annie's collection of antique china.

I had the fluffy buttermilk pancakes with fresh fruit ...

Michael had eggs benedict (his favorite) on a scone ...

There are two banquet rooms upstairs perfect for bridal or baby showers.  Each room has paintings for sale created by local artists.

This pretty purple teacup caught my eye!

Being near the airport you can watch the planes take off or enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Pretty blue skies with lots of white puffy clouds.

After leaving we headed over to the nursery to check out their perennials.  For me, it was like being in a candy store!  Can you ever have too many plants?  I picked up a double flowering clematis to try.  I can't wait to see what the blooms look like!

Happy Tea Day!  Thank you for stopping to enjoy a cup with me.  I am linking today with the following parties:

  5. What a special day! It's so nice that tea rooms are providing more substantial fare for the guys. My honey likes tea rooms, so I am blest. I guess that's partly due to his being a Brit...Thanks for sharing your perfect day and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
