Special Sympathy

Sympathy cards are always difficult to create and I never seem to have the right one at the time.  I started with a piece of Whisper White paper and sponged it with Blushing Bride ink.  The flourishes were stamped in ColorBox Chalk Creamy Brown.

I stamped the rose with VersaMark then embossed it with gold embossing powder.  Sponging was done in Blushing Bride, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose being careful to keep some areas light.

The sentiments were both stamped in VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder to coordinate.  Some sheer ribbon and pearls finish it off.

  8. This is such an elegant and thoughtful card. I don't think many people receive hand made cards of sympathy. How wonderful to give such a beautiful gift from the heart.
