Old Fashioned Lilacs

The kitchen is filled with the sweet scent of lilacs.

I couldn't resist putting them in a silver coffee pot.

Their blossoms so dreamy.

Lilacs always remind me of my dear grandmother.

Their reflection makes me smile  :-)

It was a busy day yesterday planting annuals and filling pots.  A nice steady rain today will give them a good start.

Have a charming week!

  17. I love your quote of the day... particularly meaningful as we face possible frost tonight. Your lilacs are spectacular and they are at peak here as well... the fragrance pervades the air as I write this comment! Larry
