A Valentine Rose

Hello friends,

I have a card to share with you today.  This was made for a special gal, who after battling cancer, is now paying it forward by helping to build the spirits of other cancer patients.  I think she deserves a medal!

The roses were stamped in Pretty in Pink & Regal Rose, then cut out.  I used an aqua painter on the lighter areas.  Star Dust Stickles were added to both the rose and bud for a little shimmer.  The leaves were done in Mellow Moss & Old Olive.

Pure sweetness ...

A bow was created using 1/2" Pink Pirouette seam binding.  I thought a silver glittered heart would look elegant in the center.

A peek inside ...

Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Wishing you quiet moments with the one you love ...

Thanks for stopping by!
