Beginning 2018 ...

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!!!  When I awoke this morning it was -19 degrees outside ... brrr!  I grabbed my Stampin' Up Wintertime stamp and began creating.

The frame and die cuts are from the Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty-Five & Labels Twenty-Five sets.  I masked off the flourishes and stamped Happy Winter in Buckaroo Blue.  Then, I masked off Happy Winter and stamped the flourishes in Soft Sky.  Sponging around the image was done in Soft Sky.  Kaiser Pearls in Bliss accent the flourishes and Studio G glitter was added to Happy Winter.  These colors gave me the effect I was looking for.

A bow was created in Soft Sky 1/2" seam binding.  For some bling I hung a Frost Finishes embellishment from white jute.

Can you see the glitter?  It's always difficult to capture in the photos.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Buckaroo Blue.  Snowflakes were stamped in Soft Sky on the background paper and embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder.

Wishing you a wonderful start to the new year!  May 2018 bless you in surprising and joyful ways.
