Thank You Romantic Homes!

I am just tickled pink today!  My blog has been featured in the January 2013 issue of Romantic Homes magazine.  What an honor, I am humbled and so appreciative!

Several months ago I received a sweet email from Beth Livesay asking if she could feature Donna's Designs in their 'Site Seeing' section.  It is such a great feeling to have your blog recognized.  I've tried to create a place where bloggers can come for a cup of tea and enjoy the flowers from my gardens.

When I first started blogging I never imagined I would be published.  I still can't believe my gazebo has been featured.  I have been very fortunate this past year to have one of my dreams come true.  So my advice to you is don't be afraid to spread your wings, make a wish and live your dreams!

Please join me for a cup of tea as we browse the new issue.

Silver Dollars ...

Hi everyone!

I just want to mention Tia at Old Fashioned Living has published my article about Growing and Decorating with Silver Dollars.  If you are interested in learning how to preserve these beautiful translucent disks, please click here to take a peek.  You may want to add these flowers to your spring wish list.

Silver Dollars make a lovely fall arrangement paired with grasses.  I've filled a basket with these dangling coins for the sunroom.

I hope you are finding a way to savor the remaining days of summer.  Thank you for stopping by!

Creating Vintage Charm!

In the spring I was very busy working on several things and today I can finally share one of them with you.  My journey card and Paris notebook have been published in the gorgeous and inspirational Magazine, Creating Vintage Charm.  It is such an honor to be included in this beautiful magazine.  Each issue has lots of eye candy!

A big thank you to Sonia Crouse, Senior Editor/Design for featuring Donna's Designs.  Please drop by Creating Vintage Charm for more information or to purchase your copy of the Summer 2012 Issue.

I'm so thrilled to see how everything looks in print.  Here is a sneak peek of the article ...

My blog and followers have brought me so many wonderful things.  Thank you for your encouragement and sweet comments.

I'm sending you a David Austin 'Mary' Rose from my garden.

I've Been Published!

Hi everyone!

I am just ecstatic and can finally tell you about my wonderful news!  I am featured in the Fall 2011 issue of RubberStampMadness Magazine in their Card Shoppe section on page 20.

I have known about this for quite a while, but when I actually received the magazine in the mail it was like a dream come true!  I never thought when I first started stamping my cards would be published.  Many of you know me as “Ocicat” on Splitcoaststampers.  Thanks so much to all of you for your support and sweet comments throughout this journey.  I’m glad to be able to share a bit of joy with you today.

I would like to thank Roberta Sperling, editor of RSM, as well as staff writer Barbara Blanks, for the time they spent with me putting together this article.

Here is a peek at The Card Shoppe section which talks about my stamping and features three of my scenic cards.  I’m sure you recognize them from my blog.

May your day be filled with sunshine!
