Peaceful Season

Isn't the script on this sentiment just lovely?  I really like the elegance of this card and hope you will too!

I used a Cuttlebug flurries embossing folder and rubbed one side of it with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue ink, then placed a piece of Shimmery White paper inside and ran it through the Big Shot.

Peace on Earth was stamped in VersaMark and embossed with silver embossing powder.  The edges were sponged in Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue.  I mounted the rectangle to a piece of Bashful Blue and punched a dove from Brushed Silver paper.

The snowflakes were cut from the Northern Frost die strip in Brushed Silver and Bashful Blue.  Ice circle brads were added for some sparkle.

I adhered the snowy background to a piece of Bashful Blue and mounted it onto a solar white linen card.

The Stampabilities Joy, Love & Peace sentiment was stamped in VersaMark and embossed with silver embossing powder.  Snowflakes from SU's Serene Snowflakes were stamped in Bashful Blue and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Sleigh Ride Reindeer

Today I have a reindeer card for you using the Flourishes Sleigh Ride Set.  On a piece of Cherry Cobbler I stamped the Silent Night Sheet Music in VersaMark and embossed it with gold embossing powder and a heat gun.  The edges were sponged in Distressed Vintage Photo.

I stamped the reindeer on a Spellbinders Labels Eight #3 die in VersaMark and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I colored the image with Prismacolor markers in Eggshell and Mocha Light.  Sponging was done around the edges in Distressed Antique Linen.  I just had to add a red rhinestone to Rudolph's nose!

Before adhering the reindeer to my Cherry Cobbler paper I added a piece of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in Always Artichoke with some vintage jingle bells.

Since I had room in the corner I stamped a few holly leaves from the Joy set in Always Artichoke and colored them with a Mellow Moss marker.  The berries were stamped in Cherry Cobbler with some Crystal Effects for dimension.

Everything was mounted to a textured Always Artichoke card.  Now, I don't know if I can part with this card!

A closer look at the reindeer.

Weekend Cat Blogging #340

My adorable cat Cheops has a wonderful cat bed, but he still likes to hide in paper bags and boxes.  I thought this was a cute picture of him in a Poland Spring Water package.

Thank you for stopping to visit us.  We are joining Weekend Cat Blogging hosted by Pam at Sidewalk Shoes.
