I have an eerie Halloween scene for you this evening. This card was put together using stamps from different manufacturers. I started with a piece of Shimmery White paper and stamped the images in StazOn Black. The Jack-o-lantern was colored with Only Orange and Yoyo Yellow. A little sparkle was added to his grin with a lemon spica pen.
The background was sponged in Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue, Distress Milled Lavender and Distress Black Soot.
I accented the cobwebs and leaves with a silver spica pen.
The scene was adhered to a piece of Perfect Plum and then mounted to a black linen card. Here is a peek at the inside.
I want to thank everyone who has left me comments over the past couple of days. I'm a little behind on my email and will be visiting you this week. Yesterday was a full day with outside work. I wasn't kidding when I said I had leaves to rake.
All these leaves are from our maple tree ...
and this is what the lawn looks like now :-)
We are prepping for the big storm coming up the east coast to New York. Our generator is working, we have batteries and tons of candles. I'm thinking of you Cynthia down there in New Jersey - be safe.

Hi Donna- love your card! I see you had leaves to contend with too!
I trust you will be okay and I hope you don't lose your power! We're expecting strong winds this evening because of the storm but that's the worst we'll see.

Amazing job on your card. You created a wonderful Halloween scene! And awesome job on all those leaves too! Hope you can take a break now!! Saw this on MIM.
Hi Donna! Cassandra was very happy to meet you, too! And, I hear you about the flooding. It would be our basement that would be in trouble - though it is dry-locked and sealed well, it is an older house. I have years of props, costumes, seasonal decor, and my homeschool classroom and resource center (a zillion books) down there - my livelihood. But, Jesus is my life - so - fearing not. Be ye blessed and safe as you weather your piece of the storm.
Joy!
Kathy
Wow! Amazing work you did here! Hope the storm will not be so hard...
Take care, Donna, and I hope the storm is not bad. I love your Halloween card--so beautiful with the lavender background to accent the orange and black! And you certainly do have a lot of leaves :)
