Reason to Smile

I just love this stamp set which was offered by Stampin' Up.  It features the prettiest gerbera daisies.  To me these flowers are so cheery.  This card was crafted for my blogging friend Carrie.

The gerbera daisies were stamped on a Spellbinders long rectangle in StazOn Black and colored with Pirouette Pink and Pretty in Pink.  The stems were done in Mellow Moss.  The image was then mounted onto a long scalloped rectangle from Mellow Moss paper and popped up.  The background paper is from the Kaisercraft Chanteuse Collection.

Dream and Sending you a Smile were stamped in Mellow Moss and embossed with clear embossing powder and a heat gun.  A few butterflies were cut out using the Beautiful Wings embosslits die.  Angel Wings Shimmer Paint was applied to them.  A triple loop bow from May Arts silk ribbon was added to the corner.

A peek at the inside.

I've been meaning to send Carrie a card and hope this one brought a smile to her face.  I'm linking with Friendship Friday @ Create With Joy, Make It Monday, Make it Pretty @ The Dedicated House and Crafty Tuesday @ Blueberry Craft & Hobby

Thank you for stopping to visit me.  Happy crafting!

We like cards with bows but I have to remove them because the cats think they're terrific for chewing!
