Maytime Tulips

One of the tulips I planted in the fall was Maytime.

This lily-flowered tulip has deep reddish violet blooms with a light halo around each petal.

Graceful and elegant ...

a pretty splash of color.

We are receiving some much needed rain over the next couple of days.  Perfect weather for crafting  :-)

May your day be filled with sweet memories and flowers.

Very pretty Donna! I love them when they have soft shading like that. I have some that I'm still waiting to see bloom, but I just discovered a bunny has been eating them. He's taken down 7 of the 12! Grr... I do have others blooming so I'm happy about that! Hope your day is beautiful too!

I adore tulips, Donna! I haven't had any success growing them in my front yard (I don't try in the back because they'd get trampled by the dog). Your tulips are beautiful!

Lovely composition and photographed Donna, I love tulips, just a shame the season is so short, it is all over in my garden for this year. Now I am eagerly waiting for the roses to bloom :-)
