Vintage Mother of Pearl

Sharing with you some of my latest finds ...

These beautiful mother of pearl pieces really dress up the table and add a touch of elegance.

Pearl handled flatware was very popular from the late 1800's to the 1920's.

The sterling cuffs have a traditional fleur-de-lis motif.

I love how they reflect the light.

This sweet pink basket was a garage sale find.  Pink depression glass is one of my favorites.

A pretty reflection of a rose ...

This Kernewek Goonhavern cup from Cornwall, England also makes a gorgeous vase for flowers.

Do you have any pretty mother of pearl items?  I don't think it ever goes out of style!

Love them! I have seen similar fake ones at Tuesday morning but they are plastic. After seeing yours, I am definitely going to keep looking!

Those are beautiful Donna! I have a plastic handled set but of course they don't compare to the beauty of these. My mom has some pink depression glass pieces. Your little basket is sweet. That's a very pretty cup you displayed the mother of pear pieces in. Great photos!

Hi Donna: It's been a while since I've been able to visit your blog--just been busy with life. But I wanted to say hi, and I love your mother of pearl flatware, and no, I don't have any myself, but would love to find some!
