Early Morning

Hi blogging friends,

I hope you're having a good week.  It has been quite warm and humid here and my allergies have been acting up.  The other day I created a Stampscapes card for a dear friend.  It is a layout I have done before, but added the little crane to the scene.

On a piece of Kromekote glossy paper I stamped the images in StazOn Stone Gray.  Using a 1 3/8" circle punch and a Post-it note I created a mask for the moon.  The sky was sponged with Adirondack Cloudy Blue, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue and Night of Navy.  I then removed the Post-it note.

The water was sponged with Adirondack Cloudy Blue, Marina Mist, Distress Tumbled Glass and Distress Bundled Sage.  Water ripples were stamped in Marina Mist (stamped off once on scrap paper).  The rocks were colored in Going Gray and Basic Gray with a touch of ColorBox Frost White.  I finished the front by adding some Angel Wings Shimmerz Paint to the water.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Marina Mist and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The trees were stamped in StazOn Stone Gray.

I would like to thank everyone who stopped by to visit my craft studio and for your lovely comments.  If you didn't sign up for my giveaway you have until Saturday, July 26th.

How beautiful, Donna - just like a painting! I love the beautiful blues that you chose for the background and the 'water'. The quote is perfect! My allergies are terrible this time of year, too. Keep cool! Hugs xo Karen
