Lilac Love ...

The lilacs have been amazing this year!

I'm so in love ...

Today was the day I finally had time to pick a basket of them.

This is the first bush to bloom ...

I've been very patient as last year we moved three bushes to another part of the yard.  I hoped with the harsh winter they would make it.

My reward ... with many more to come in different shades of purple.  My life would be incomplete without flowers.  Not only is the scent heavenly, but their beauty is a reminder of how lovely life is if we take the time to enjoy it.

Ahhh ... enjoy a virtual whiff!

They're a dreamy shade of lavender :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Donna, Your lilacs are beautiful! It's been a good year for them here too although mine are done now. I had 3 nice bouquets and enjoyed them very much.

Ah, lilacs - my favorite flower. In full bloom here in MN, but I don't have any. Thanks for the whif! Got to go make another card with a lilac stamp!

Donna, so nice to have you back sharing with SYC. Lilacs are definitely a little bit of heaven on earth! You have a basketful of beauties! We planted three Dwarf Korean Lilacs at the back of our pergola. I walk out there and the scent surrounds me. I have French lilac that hasn't bloomed yet. Last year it only had three blooms. A lot more this year and I can't wait!
hugs,
Jann
