Lavender Violet Foot Soak

It's DIY time!  I love to enjoy some spa time at home to relax my achy and tired feet, especially after gardening.  Depending on the season I like to add fresh flowers or buds as a treat.  It is another way to enjoy your beautiful garden petals.  This soak will leave your skin feeling soft and silky.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1 cup Dead Sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Baking soda
  • 10-15 drops Lavender essential oil
  • Violet petals
  • Large basin/foot tub
In a glass bowl, mix together Epsom salt, Dead Sea salt and baking soda.  Add your lavender essential oil, then toss in your petals and stir mixture.

I just love how the purple petals look against the salts.

Transfer ingredients to sealed glass jars.

I wrapped natural hemp cord around my jar and included a tag.

When you are ready for your foot soak, fill a basin large enough for your feet with very warm water, then add a 1/2 cup of your mixture and soak your feet for 20 minutes.  Enjoy the pretty petals swirling around in the basin.

Lavender essential oil is known for its relaxing and calming properties.  This soak will help soothe your tired, achy feet.

Wishing you a wonderful stress free week!
