Mini Muslin Gift Bag Holder

Hello Crafters,

Today I have a super easy project to share with you.  I've had these Stampin' Up Mini Muslin Bags forever and finally decided to use one for a gift card holder.  Tell me why did I wait so long?

For You was stamped in StazOn Timber Brown on a Spellbinders Gold Labels Four Die.  A little Brilliance Pearlescent Beige was added to the edges.  I then popped it up on a Labels Four Small Die cut from Close to Cocoa Paper.  The tag was hung from Baker's Twine.

I created a bow using Winter White seam binding and added the kraft paper leaf dipped in wax.  These I had purchased several years ago on Etsy.

I think I'm addicted to these bags now!  My mind is swirling with ideas.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend as we start to think about the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Thankfulness

Hello my friends,

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Wishing you a day filled with blessings and the comfort of family and friends.

Recently, I created this gift bag for my wonderful, compassionate and caring sister-in-law.  I filled it with some great goodies from Young Living.  I've been using their lip balms for quite sometime now and wanted to share them with her.  Right now my favorite one is Cinnamint, which contains Cinnamon Bark and Peppermint essential oils with Wolfberry Seed Oil.  It is super for quenching dry, parched lips.

Now, onto how I made the gift bag.  The leaves were created using the Stampin' Up Vintage Leaves set with the coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies.  This combination makes things quick & easy!

With Gratitude was stamped in StazOn Timber Brown on a Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two.  Sponging was done in Crumb Cake and ColorBox Chalk Creamy Brown.

I'll leave you on this day with one of my favorite quotes about thankfulness.

"O Lord, that lends me life, lend me a heart
replete with thankfulness."

~ William Shakespeare, Henry VI, part 2 ~

Shabby Chic Gift Bag

Hello friends,

Today I'm sharing one of the gift bags I made a while ago.  I'm a huge lover of all things packaging! I think making your own packaging shows someone how much they mean to you.

The bag measures 5.25" x 3.25" x 8.5" and has a coordinated gift tag.

A pretty doily was adhered to the front and distressed with inks.  Happy Birthday was stamped in brown ink and layered onto a piece of pink cardstock and popped up.

Stamped butterflies, a flourish and cottage roses accent the doily.  All I need to add is a piece of tissue paper.

Yesterday we were hit hard by the winter storm with about 22" of snow.  The high today was 24 degrees ... brrr.  I'm so ready for spring to arrive!

Wishing you a warm and cozy evening.
