While Walking in the Woods ...

I recently purchased this ATC stamp from Red Lead PaperWorks and thought it would look great paired with their Statement Ledger stamp.

Both stamps were inked with StazOn Black and stamped on Very Vanilla paper.  The ledger was sponged with Distressed Antique Linen & Distressed Scattered Straw with the edges done in Walnut Stain.

The focal image was stamped in StazOn Black and sponged with Distressed Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Green Galore, Distressed Aged Mahogany, Distressed Vintage Photo, Distressed Pumic Stone & Apricot Appeal.  The edges were also sponged with Walnut Stain.

I cut a piece of Soft Suede paper and stamped it numerous times with my Linen background stamp in Soft Suede ink to add some texture.

Before adhering the layers I used my edge distresser, added a little Burgundy Shimmerz Paint to the nest and then some gold brads.

I knew I wanted to include a paper clip in the corner, but only had a silver clip from Stampin’ Up so I took out my Folk Art Metallic Pure Gold Acrylic paint and recolored it.

I think it is time to pull out more of my ATC stamps and see what I can do with them.
