As we head into October am I not only thinking about the beautiful fall foliage which awaits, but I am also seeing 'pink'. October has been declared 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month' around the world and the color pink during the month stands for hope and strength. Breast cancer has touched all of our lives in some way or another so let's spread the word about early detection and mammography.
To help promote breast cancer awareness month, I will be giving away three brand new Longaberger pink scarves. These gorgeous scarves in gradient shades of pink are 75"l x 42"w. A portion of the proceeds from these scarves was donated to the American Cancer Society.

Yes a very good cause. I will spread the word as I know someone going through it right now. x
Thank you Donna, for letting me know about my pink glass. I think knowing the story behind a collection is so interesting. I don't mind either that it's not original,I love it anyway. xx
Thank you for sharing this and everyone has been touched by this in some fashion. I remember every October.

You are such a generous soul! Your creativity and beauty already inspire me in so many ways ~ a stop by your blog is like a breath of fresh air and stopping to admire IRL beauty that we can't see here :) Such a beautiful cause - we walked this walk with my mom, bless her heart - a battle but always fighting like so many lovely ladies. *Blessings to you*
Hi Donna: What a lovely giveaway for a worthy cause--I'm in! It was nice to hear from you over at my blog--I love 'Heavenly Blue' morning glories so much--that sky-blue color is so pretty. Glad to hear you like them, too! Here's to a fantastic week--I am working on painting some furniture projects--forgot how long it takes for all those coats of paint and sealer to dry! But progress is being made.
We are LivingStrong with all of you sweet friends today too. Lovely scarves!
So glad I found you! What a wonderful giveaway, and for such a great cause. Love your site.
Hugs
A worthy cause Donna. My son, a paramedic, is wearing pink epaulets for the month of October. My mom is a 40-year breast cancer survivor. There is hope!
