Lemons Anyone?

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  The weather was beautiful here and I was able to get quite a bit of gardening done.

Please join me for tea today as I share with you my Victorian cottage roses teapot.

Pink roses make me swoon ...

Would you like a slice of lemon with your tea?

A lemon fork to dress up the table.  The pattern is French Provincial by Towle (circa 1948).

My choice of tea today is Darjeeling.  A blend of citrus notes with a hint of apricots and plums.

Fresh roses fill a vintage crystal cruet jar.

A petite slice of cake to nosh.

A day to enjoy life's simple pleasures.

Thank you for sipping tea with me!

Beautiful roses and tea accessories! It was a gorgeously sunny weekend here. I got lots of stuff checked off my "to do" list. No roses here, so I enjoyed seeing yours. Maybe someday we'll have "smell-o-vision" so I can tell how aromatic the flowers are for myself! Have a wonderful day, Donna.

Hi Donna,
Your teapot is really pretty and the lemon fork is lovely. Pink roses always make me swoon, and Hubby just brought me a dozen for our anniversary. They're gorgeous! Your slice of cake is pretty too. A very delightful post. Thanks for sharing and coming to tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

The tea sounds so interesting and flavorful. I hadn't heard of that one.

That has to be the most beautiful slice of cake I have ever seen. Wherever did you get it?

Yes, I would love to come and share some of everything with you. Your roses are spectacular too.
