Hi everyone,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. The weather was beautiful here and I was able to get quite a bit of gardening done.
Please join me for tea today as I share with you my Victorian cottage roses teapot.
Pink roses make me swoon ...
Would you like a slice of lemon with your tea?
A lemon fork to dress up the table. The pattern is French Provincial by Towle (circa 1948).
My choice of tea today is Darjeeling. A blend of citrus notes with a hint of apricots and plums.
Fresh roses fill a vintage crystal cruet jar.
A petite slice of cake to nosh.
A day to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Thank you for sipping tea with me!

Great pics and yeah was a nice weekend here too.
What a darling vignette and an incredibly pretty slice of cake. Love the teapot!
Morning Donna,
Love photos, and what pretty teapot,
and love those roses, there is just something about roses......
Also that cake looks mighty good too.
Lucky for you it can't be emailed I'd be begging for some and I bet some others would too!! lol
Hope you have a lovely week,
Nellie
Beautiful roses and tea accessories! It was a gorgeously sunny weekend here. I got lots of stuff checked off my "to do" list. No roses here, so I enjoyed seeing yours. Maybe someday we'll have "smell-o-vision" so I can tell how aromatic the flowers are for myself! Have a wonderful day, Donna.
Donna, I love your Victorian Rose teapot! I will have some lemon with my tea and that gorgeous cake is almost too pretty to taste -- almost! Lovely! Happy Tea Day!

Hi Donna,
Your teapot is really pretty and the lemon fork is lovely. Pink roses always make me swoon, and Hubby just brought me a dozen for our anniversary. They're gorgeous! Your slice of cake is pretty too. A very delightful post. Thanks for sharing and coming to tea.
Blessings,
Sandi
Donna-this is so lovely! What strikes me too is the slice of cake is decorated after it's cut! Did you do this??? Sooo...pretty!! Love the teapot, cup and saucer too!
What a beautiful series, Donna.
The teapot is magnificent, and that cake looks oh so yummy!!!
Wonderful. I love the roses in that vase/cruet..it is stunning..and I sure could go for a slice of cake..I won't sleep tonight dreaming of it..
The tea sounds so interesting and flavorful. I hadn't heard of that one.
That has to be the most beautiful slice of cake I have ever seen. Wherever did you get it?
Yes, I would love to come and share some of everything with you. Your roses are spectacular too.
This looks gorgeous Donna. The roses are beautiful and that cake is a work of art. Please do not tell me you made it :).
Your teapot is beautiful, and so is the cake. The roses look lovely in the cruet bottle. What a pretty tea!
