Creepy Spiders

Hi blogging friends,

Are you ready for Halloween?  Is your home all decorated with spooky & scary stuff?  I am anxiously waiting to see the 'treaters' next week.  If you're skittish of spiders (like me) then you won't be too fond of my card today!

Using the Memory Box Creepy Frame & Debutante Frame, I cut a piece of Brushed Silver paper and Martha Stewart Haunted paper and adhered them together.  Dangling and creepy spiders were cut from black glitter paper and glued onto the vellum background.

A tag was created from Perfect Plum paper.  The sentiment was stamped in StazOn Black and embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder.  I added silver metal dots to each end.

The inside sentiment is by Northwoods and was stamped in Perfect Plum with clear embossing powder.  A crow in the corner finishes it off.

A simple Halloween card which didn't take too much time to create.  I have been so busy lately re-doing my crafting studio.  At one point I couldn't even see the floor as I was pulling things out and sorting through everything.  It feels great to be more organized.

I hope you are enjoying everything that autumn has to offer ... frosty mornings, hot apple cider, walking in the leaves, carved pumpkins and apple pie!

Halloween is not such a big thing here sometimes we get kids knocking on the door trick or treating, I can always find a few lollies.
Hot apple cider sounds good.

Happy Halloween Donna. I feel a little disorganised for it this year, but I am sure there will be lots of fun on the night. I love your card, and yes I am not a fan of spiders, but it is perfect for this occasion. Lovely words inside too! Enjoy your weekend xoxo

Really nice Halloween card, Donna! I love the shadowy spider webs! We don't get trick or treaters here (too rural), but sometimes we go down to our little town and watch all the sweet little ones. Hope you have a fun Halloween! Hugs xoxo Karen

Great job on this creepy crawly card, Donna! Love your idea of the black glitter paper for your spiders, and the Perfect Plum paper and ink compliment your other colors so well.
