Peeps ...

"P" is for Peeps ...

It's time once again for Alphabe-Thursday at Jenny Matlock's.  This week we are studying the letter "P".

I love those delicious marshmallow peeps!  They don't even have to be bunnies they can be chicks, hearts, snowman or trees.  I'm not ashamed to love those pastel and neon colored puffs of sugar.  I agree the texture is unlike anything homemade with its crystallized sugar coating.  Your fingers get all sticky - yummy!

We all know they are inexpensive and wonderful to "stash" in children's Easter baskets.

Have you ever tried to purchase Just Born Peeps and keep them?  Well, take it from me eventually they will become hard, crunchy and not to my liking.

So, if you receive any peeps that you don't want, please send them to my house where they will be eaten.  Remember, the letter "P" is for Peeps!  Have a great day everyone.

What a great creative idea for the letter P. I confess, I'm not a fan of those peeps, however.

I am a fan of Peeps! I think we have the largest store of them too....they come in so many shapes and forms and tastes these days....compared to how they first arrived! Cool p-peep-post-perfectly-peepy!

Tell you what, this Donna doesn't care much for them, so after Easter when they are slashing the price, offer a prayer of thanksgiving up for me that my share goes to you - for a song and a dance! he he he!

Blessings,
Donna

Hello.
Can't say I've had these, but not too sure I would either...the sugar content is probably off the charts...not good for my numbers (lol).
Thanks for sharing.

Oh Donna! You have to be my new BFF! I L O V E Peeps! They are so cool! My friend Sharon sends me peeps each year. I would just die if I never received them. I can hardly wait to eat them. I keep them in a drawer in a ziploc bag and limit myself to 2 or 3 each day! Ha Ha! But I buy them on sale during the Easter season. I love all the pretty colors. This is a fav post! Hugs Anne

What a cute post!! We always got peeps in our baskets, and passed that tradition on to our kids.

Hi Donna! I always got peeps in my Easter basket as a child. I always gave them to my sisters...and I still put them in kids and Grandlittles Easter baskets!

They make me smile...and that picture of a pink peony in your sidebar makes my heart sing!

What a fun and happy post!

Thank you for sharing it.
