Wedding Bliss

My card today was for a wedding I recently attended.  Since I didn't know the colors of the wedding party I decided to go with a more formal style.

Mr. & Mrs. was stamped in StazOn Black and Going Gray on a piece of Shimmery White paper cut from a Spellbinders small petite ovals #3 die.  I then mounted it onto another oval cut from black glitter paper.  The background paper is by Recollections.  I love this damask pattern!

I cut a strip of Basic Black and used my Creative Memories cutting system for the edges.  3/8" Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon was adhered to the center with a bow.  To jazz it up a bit, I added a Victoria Lynn double heart silver charm with a K&Company sequin gem.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment in StazOn Black and embossed it with clear embossing powder and a heat gun.  The wedding rings were stamped in VersaMark and embossed with silver embossing powder.

I hope you are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am.  Thanks for coming by for a visit!

Charming!! THis is truly elegant! I was sharing with a good friend of mine the other day about your blog :) She just became - got a degree? - as master gardener and was so excited... I was trying to explain to her that "I know someone" with the most gorgeous flowers and yard! Of course, I couldn't remember the blog at all in the middle of the restaurant, lol!
