Valentine's Day Box

I've been eager to show you my Valentine's Day heart box and today is the day.  Doesn't it just look so romantic and dreamy?

Covered with a vintage heart doily topped with gorgeous soft pink and cream roses with a splash of tea stained tulle.

Pink and cocoa seam binding with a vintage charm finish the top.

The inside is lined with antique sheet music paper and cream trim.

A shabby chic box for those special trinkets or rose petals.

It just makes my heart go pitter-patter  :-)

If you would like one of these gorgeous boxes, please contact Diane at the Unique Box Boutique.  I'm sure she would just love to hear from you!

What a lovely box! I wonder if you have made the roses yourself? From paper? I know how to make roses like that out of marzipan or sugar paste, but not from paper, if you have a post where you have shown how to, I would be very interest if you could post a link. I can see a new obsession forming...more sleepless nights...!
Thanks for posting, lovely pictures.

So lovely, Donna. I have to make my first "vintage box" this weekend and while I have every embellishment, feel a bit intimidated...looking at your beautiful shabby chic heart box is just an inspiration and I just might "jump in" and try it... Love looking at all the beautiful images I see as a subscriber! Don't always have the time to leave a comment, but today, I am making the time to say "thank you" for all the inspiration you send! xxx Ann Marie (My Eclectic Spirit)
