Pines & Rocks

I'm on a roll and have another Stampscapes card to share with you.  This is a birthday card I created for a co-worker.

On a piece of glossy paper I stamped the images in StazOn Stone Gray.  I just picked up a new ink pad so the images came out nice and clear  :-)

Using a 1 3/8" circle punch and a Post-it note I created a mask for the moon.  The sky was sponged with Bordering Blue, Buckaroo Blue and Night of Navy.  I then removed the Post-it and stamped the gulls.

The water was sponged with Bordering Blue, Buckaroo Blue, Night of Navy and Marina Mist.  The rocks were colored in Going Gray and Basic Gray.  I finished the front by adding some Angel Wings Shimmerz Paint to the water.  Unfortunately, it never shows in the photos.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The branches were stamped in StazOn Stone Gray.

A simple card which didn't take me too long.  I really need to switch out my stamp sets and start thinking about fall cards.  It will be a nice change to use some of my autumn colored papers.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Hi Donna! Finally had a chance to visit your blog again and am just loving your garden photos and your beautiful cards. Wish I could see the shimmer you added to the water on this card .... I especially L-O-V-E the inside design on this card, too.

All the best,
