How exciting it was the other day to see the crocus blooms open.
After all the snow and frigid temperatures we had this winter it was a pure joy.
What better way to enjoy them than with a cup of tea!
Today I am sipping chamomile - a light flora smell with a subtle hint of apples.
Royal Albert Prairie Crocus is perfect for a spring day.
This particular teacup is part of a special collection.
A little texturizing using the 'Tableaux' by French Kiss.
Just a whisper of what's to come ...

Morning Donna,
All your crocus images are gorgeous.
I love spring time because of all
the pretty flowers we see....and yes, it is pure joy.....seeing all
this beauty come out of the deadness of Winter.......
Hope this finds you doing well and
enjoying spring all the more...
Blessings, Nellie
Gorgeous photos Donna. I Just love Spring, love seeing all the flowers in bloom and blooming. I planted 3 dozen bulbs and can't wait for them to come up :)
Drooling over the crocus blooms..now here in Aruba on vacation!...:)JP
How lovely and soothing! xo Jen

those photos are dreamy. Love the crocus. Such soft spring time colors.
Beautiful photos, they look so ethereal :-)
All the crocuses are gone long time ago from my garden and I already miss them. But now we are on to other things, always something flowering in my garden!
Definitely long awaited this year.
These are just beautiful, Donna.
Our little yellow ones (which always bloom before the purple and white ones), came into bloom at the end of last week. Such a welcome sight.
How nice to find the tea cup of the Prairie Crocus. I don't seem to have any crocus' this year... only daffodils and tulips. I know I planted some.....
I have always liked the crocus pattern china, as I live in Manitoba where the prairie crocus is our provincial flower. Your live crocuses are so lovely too.
I saw crocuses for the first time today when I was out doing an errand. What a joy! Your pictures are so lovely. I wish I could do that well.
What delightful photos you have taken with the cup and flower and the same motifs. Just lovely!
So pretty! Love the softness in the pictures you took. I always enjoy seeing the crocus-the first spring flowers from bulbs! Pretty tea cup!
the crocuses are so pretty and cheerful, and they go perfectly with your teacup. hope to see some around here soon.
Lovely Donna! The teacup with crocuses is an unusual design. And the photos are so ethereal! Lovely!

Beautiful! Spring is finally here :-)
Good morning Donna,
Your crocuses are lovely and look so pretty with your beautiful teacup. It is finally beginning to feel like spring here too after a very long and harsh winter. Thank you for linking with Tea Time and have a beautiful day.
Blessings,
Sandi
I have never thought to pick crocus and put them in a bud vase (not sure why) and love how they look on your table with that lovely cup/saucer! Thanks for inspiring me (mine are gone, already, so next year!)
Your flower pics are beautiful. I live in northern cali so it's a little early for my flower garden, since we sometimes get snow in June. I went to Home Depot yesterday for some flower therapy. You are welcome to share at the Bacon Time linky, if you have not already. :)
Hello Donna,
Spring is such a hopeful time, and crocus always brings delight after the long winter. Your flowers in the bud vase look amazing. The tea cup too, is so lovely. It is a sweet match to your pretty flowers.
Hugs,
Terri
I love crocus! Such pretty colors and so delicate. Your RA crocus teacup is perfect for spring. Happy Tea Day!
Beautiful spring teacup and crocus! So very pretty!
