Spring Flowers

I hope you are having a great week!  Things are really starting to come alive in the garden.  The recent rain has just made everything pop.  I have benn trying to keep up with taking photos of what is blooming.

In my front garden I have some Bleeding Hearts.  The heart-shaped pendants are so dainty.

This is Brunnera 'Jack Frost'.  I don't know which I like better the silvery heart-shaped leaves or the precious blue flowers.

A Honeysuckle 'Arnolds Red' through dabbled light.  This shrub was planted for the birds.  Once the flowers fade they are followed by vibrant red berries that make a wonderful treat for our feathered friends to enjoy.

Pretty bluebells ...

The last of the soft pink tulips ...

Dark purple violets have taken over a little nook near my back door ...

Thank you for stopping to visit my garden this week.  I always enjoy having you!  I am linking with the following parties:

Hi Donna!
The Jack Frost Brunnera's are a favorite of mine too! Their periwinkle flowers and pretty leaves are a dynamite duo! Mine bloomed for a month last year and the plant just kept growing the whole time. I enjoy it a lot! I miss my bleeding hearts. I haven't had one of those in a while. Your flowers all look so pretty!
Thanks for sharing!

What a lovely garden you have. I especially like the honeysuckle! Do you find that you have trouble with aphids on the honeysuckle? There were tons on the last honeysuckle I had here, and I'd love any tips you might have.

Hi Donna,
Love your bleeding heart. Mine is only about 4 inches out of the ground and my tulips are just now opening. Isn't it great when those little violets just appear in certain spots? So very welcoming. You have a beautiful garden and I enjoyed seeing it!

Whoohoo! I can leave a comment! Love those Bleeding Hearts; I thought they were fuchsias. Shows how much I know about flowers.

I shall tell the cats you find them handsome :-)

Such lovely flowers/gardens Donna. The Jack Frost Dunnera flower reminds me of the colour the girls wore for our wedding 25 years ago today!
