Welcome to my 'notecards' for Vee's Notecard Party. On the third Wednesday of each month Vee hosts a meme where you select four photographs from your blog that are notecard worthy.
Since it is almost the first day of autumn, I have selected a series of photos that were taken in Vermont a few years ago. This first photo was near The Four Chimneys Inn in Bennington, Vermont. A charming historic bed and breakfast built in 1783.
The Snicket trail (an English word for narrow, winding path) is a lovely walk through mature forests that were farm fields a century ago. As you stroll along the path you will see stonewalls evidence of a time when the land was cleared for farming.
A beautiful trickling stream with an array of colorful leaves.
Dappled afternoon sunlight through a canopy of trees.
Please stop by A Haven for Vee to visit photos by the other participants. I'm also linking with Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. I hope you have enjoyed viewing my 'notecards' for this month. I've been busy decorating the house inside and out for autumn - my favorite time of the year! Blessings to you all.
