Winter Wonderland ...

Are you still decking the halls ?  As I create a winter wonderland, these two fluffy feathered owls have come to visit.

The soft flicker of candlelight sparkles from this vintage style mercury glass holder.

A pressed tin reindeer inspired by old tin ornaments shows off its flower topped antlers.

Pearlescent glitter creates an icy Christmas tree.

Isn't this little drum basket adorable?  Its bright glitter trim and silver cord reminds me of Christmas carolers.  I have filled it with a few jingle bells to ring in the season.

Pinecones and snowy branches are everywhere.

This silver centerpiece is the perfect accompaniment to my decor.

A glitter bow and frosty branches make it magical.

Today I am having tea in a Fostoria glass teacup.  The etched pattern is Romance, which has dainty bouquets tied with ribbons and bows - pretty and romantic!

The clear glass allows me to see my tea a little clearer and enjoy it a bit more!

Paris is my choice of tea today.  A fruity black tea with a vanilla aroma and slight creaminess, which has defining characteristics of an Earl Grey.  Please go ahead and grab a sachet to enjoy.

I love this time of year!  There is just something about the holiday season that brings people together - perhaps it is all the glitter and sparkle.  This morning I woke up to a dusting of snow.  Maybe we will have a white Christmas after all  :-)

Thank you for stopping to visit me.  Have a delightful weekend!

It's so pretty. It reminds me of Christmas in Holland. We never celebrated (we did St Nikolas) but I always thought it was a very pretty festival. This is just amazing!

Beautiful photographs and love the the glass teacup and saucer. The engravings give it such an elegant, lace-like, filigree look. Really, really pretty.

And the tea sounds yummy too!

Your vignettes are like a winter wonderland. So lovely! And I love your clear glass teacup. It DOES seem as if you'd enjoy it more just seeing it clear through like that.

This is so delicate looking and so very beautiful a holiday display, Donna. I love the reindeer and the drum! Our weather is still quite warm for this time of year, and there are still some outdoor garden chores I need to get to soon--still have some tender bulbs to pull up, but the tops haven't died back yet. I still have a few nasturtiums blooming! Have a great weekend!
