Evergreen Tree

When I first saw the Evergreen stamp set I knew I had to have it.  This pretty tree will come in handy for not only holiday cards, but for winter scenes too.  This card was sent to my sweet friend Sharon in Ireland.

I stamped the image in Handsome Hunter and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  It was colored with a blender pen in Sage Shadow ink.  The trunk was done in Close to Cocoa.  I used a VersaMarker pen on the edge of the branches and embossed them with iridescent ice embossing powder.  The corners of the paper were rounded and the image was mounted to a piece of Stardream metallic aquamarine paper, which was cut using the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles.  A glittered star brad was added to the top of the tree.  The Shimmery White background was embossed with a Cuttlebug Flurries embossing folder and spritzed with Tsukineko Sheer Frost Shimmer.  A bow from seam binding finishes off the card.

The inside sentiment was also stamped in Handsome Hunter and embossed.  Snowflakes were added in Going Gray ink with iridescent ice embossing powder.

Wishing you a great weekend!  I'll be linking with Make It Monday.

I'm visiting from Sharon's page. The card you made for her is gorgeous!!! The softness is really pretty. I really wish I knew how to emboss and color in, etc... Blues and green are my favorite colors, so to me this card is PERFECT!!!
