Let's Party!

Hi blogging friends,

Today I am joining the Grow Your Blog party over at Vicki's place.  If you are new to Donna's Designs I hope you will take a few minutes to look around.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I started stamping in 2008.  For me creating cards is about more than just rubber stamps and ink - it's about sharing a part of yourself and your creativity with others.

I have a love for Ocicats and currently have a chocolate-silver named Cheops.  First contact with one of these spotted creatures will create a visual impact you will never forget.  They shine with the exotic beauty of spotted cats from the wild!

On my blog I share with you my passion for gardening.  As you stroll through my gardens you will see native plants which attract butterflies and hummingbirds.  As you tour and take in all the architectural elements I have incorporated into my gardens; whether it is the gazebo, arbor, tuteurs, trellises or the fountain, I'm sure you will find something you like.

Tea time is usually on Tuesday with vintage teacups and china.  It is a time for us to relax and get to know each other.  I hope you will consider becoming a follower of Donna's Designs so you don't miss out on my February giveaway.
I'm gifting you with the keys to my blog so you can come back whenever you like.  My door is always open :-)

Thank you Vicki for hosting this lovely party.  Please stop over to 2 Bags Full and say hello.

Lovely photo of the keys, what are they made of? I have just heard about the party today, so I got too late to join :-( Sounds like a good idea, but only once a year?

Hi Donna! Nice to meet another New Yorker via this Grow Your Blog event! First, I saw a picture of your Ocicat, on your right side bar, and what a beauty! I once had a bengal cat, and at first didn't even know it. Someone had found a litter of them and gave one to me, and on the first night, his markings caught my eye, and I questioned how striking they were! Soon there after, a vet asked the friend "Do you realize what you have here?" All I can tell you is that he definitely had *wild* tendencies, but he was one of the friendliest, best-natured cats I've ever been blessed with. He passed away, but I still miss him... Love the birds in your previous post. I'm a city girl, wishing I lived in a place the birds would even come to. Your photos of the cardinals are BEAUTIFUL!.. Finally, loved your card with the chickadee on it!! I have been scrapping/art-journaling for little over a year now, but have just begun a love with making cards too!... Well, I hear it's only gonna get colder 'round our neck of the woods, so keep warm and cozy on this holiday weekend! ~tina

Hey Donna,

Thanks for coming to my blog. Your cards are beautiful. I've always wanted to try making some. I have so many hobbies I don't know where I'd find the time to though. I see you are a Nikon girl as well!! Sometimes I think we are the minority compared to all the Canon folks...lol. I look forward to reading more on your blog. Have a great day.

Your blog is beautifully laid out and the cats are so unusual - never heard of them before (and love the name Cheops). We have a Persian called Cookie , old and temperemental.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a scorpion too. Didn't know my element was water until I read your blog. I always feel slightly uneasy when too far away from water. Now I know why. Your cards for a cause were beautiful. I hope you will support my Gentle Plan.

Love especially the Christmas and absolutely in love with your Halloween card, eerie and just right! I like those Egyptian cats as well, although I am a dog person, but like anything Egyptian.
