Fifth Avenue Heartfelt Thanks

My schedule has been so messed up lately and I'm finally getting caught up on things.  Several weeks ago my husband had surgery and there were a few complications, but all is well now and I'm starting to de-stress.  I have a better appreciation now for all that he does around the house.  I have been a woman of many hats lately.  If I haven't been by to visit you lately, please forgive me.

I have a thank you card to share with you today.  Fifth Avenue Floral seems to be one of my go to sets when I need a feminine card.  I'm still surprised this set was retired by Stampin' Up!

The background was created by stamping the Hero Arts Tapestry Script background in Brilliance Pearlescent Beige on Very Vanilla paper.  I mounted it to a piece of Pretty in Pink paper.  Two roses were stamped  on Shimmery White paper in VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder with a heat gun.  I then sponged them with ColorBox Frost White, Blushing Bride, Pretty in Pink & Regal Rose.  They were cut out and sprayed with Tsukineko Sheer Frost Shimmerz Spritz.  One rose was popped up over the other.

The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and sponged a bit.  I used the Spellbinders Foliage die to cut them out.

Heartfelt Thanks was stamped in Chocolate Chip and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The petite ovals were layered and popped up over some tea stained crinkled seam binding.

Today I am joining Make It Monday.

Hi honey, I saw your card on Make It Monday and had to pop over to take a closer look. I really love pink so this caught my eye. I love the way you've shaded the leaves too to give them some depth.
