Hi blogging friends,
I hope you are having a great weekend. I've been busy doing different projects around the house. Today I have a vintage card featuring some lavender and lace. These wonderful lilac images are from Arina Atelier's shop.
After resizing the image, the edges were inked with ColorBox Creamy Chalk Brown. A French Pastry Doily die was cut from lavender paper and I added a strip of 1 9/16" lace ribbon.

I think this would make a pretty Mother's Day card. Have you started your spring cleaning yet? There is always so much to do, isn't there?

Have you read "Under the Lilacs" by Louisa May Alcott? It was a favourite of mine as a child and perhaps initiated my fondness for the lilac tree.

I have started my cleaning, but it is my yard I have to get too. The temps have been to cold or it is raining. I have hugh tree branches on the ground from the snow storm.

Very pretty, Donna. I love lilacs and like how you edged the picture of them. I love to sponge ink on edges.
That is just so very lovely! The card reminded me that soon the lilacs will be in bloom. My favorite flower/bush! And yes, I am getting ready to have my first garage sale. Time to purge all the small stuff. Not my favorite thing to do but once I'm done I will feel so much better!

I love lilacs,and I think it would make a gorgeous Mother's Day card. I cleaned inside and redecorated--went with navy and whites mostly, and little shots of pink and chartreuse. But I'm really needing to do more garden cleanup, but it's been so rainy it's been hard to get motivated to get out there. Today hopefully!
