French Mannequin

I have a vintage thank you card to share with you today.  This gorgeous French Mannequin stamp is by Cherry Pie Art Stamps.  A little something I picked up on Etsy.  The vintage tape measure is a digital image by Vectoria Designs.  I love the way these two designs came together.

The mannequin was stamped in StazOn Black on a piece of tea stained paper.  I then used my ticket corner punch on the edges and mounted it to a piece of coco paper.  Opaline pearls in champagne were added to the corners.  I then thought she needed a pretty pearl necklace to match!  The focal image was mounted to a piece of K&Company Ancestry.com paper.

A piece of coco paper was cut using the Tim Holtz On the Edge Brackets die.  I adhered the vintage measuring tape to the side.  A triple loop bow was made from tea stained seam binding.  An ivory rose accents the middle.

The inside sentiment was stamped in StazOn Black with a flourish done in Distress Antique Linen.

I liked this card so much I almost didn't want to part with it, but I created it for a gal I work with.

What a unique, beautiful, French-y card--I love it! It was so nice to hear from you today, Donna, and thank you for your kind words about our sideboard. The trees are just barely starting to turn here, but we've had a ton of rain. Glad the house is feeling cozy now, because it hasn't been much fun working outside lately. And we did have a great night at the theatre! I just interviewed for a part-time box office job at another theatre, so we'll see what happens.
