Medallion

I just love this medallion stamp! This is a card I created a while back and thought I would share the tutorial with you. This technique is called Poppin' Pastels.

I first selected by card stock (Old Olive & Sahara Sand). I cut the Sahara Sand paper to the size I wanted. I stamped the Medallion background stamp on my stamp-a-ma-jig and positioned it over the Sahara Sand paper where I wanted it to be. I made sure part of the stamp would be off the Sahara Sand paper. I stamped the Medallion in VersaMark only then took a small sponge dauber and colored in the Medallion with my Stampin' Up chalks (Old Olive with Whisper White in the center).

Once again, I stamped the Medallion in VersaMark only on the Old Olive card stock using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up. I sponged a little Old Olive chalk on it and lined up the Sahara Sand card stock to match the outer border. The Sahara Sand card stock was "popped up" using dimensions.

The sentiment was stamped in Rich Razzleberry.
