Queen Esther

Hi blogging friends,

Are you ready for tea time?  I'm excited to show you my new set of teacups & saucers.  I found them while antiquing back in the fall.  The best part is they match a set of dinnerware I already have.

Homer Laughlin in the 'Queen Esther' pattern (circa 1950).  These ivory pieces are from the Lady Liberty line with beautiful rich gold trim.

Today I am enjoying a White Christmas blend by Harney & Sons.  A white tea with almonds, vanilla, cardamom, accented with white chamomile flowers.  Would you like me to pour you a cup?

I also have some warm banana bread to share with you.

A simple cottage pitcher holds a bouquet of lavender roses.  The lavender rose is a sign of enchantment and magic.  It represents a fairy tale kind of love, like the prince had for Cinderella  :-)

I wish I could bottle the fragrance for you!

This last photo was edited with the Florabella Collection using Ruth West's Amethyst Texture.  The Vintage French Script Brushes are from the French Kiss Collection.

Thank you for visiting me for tea time.  I hope your week is off to a great start!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow for my Valentine's Day giveaway.

This is too funny. First of all thanks for stopping by. Truly appreciate it, but I must say we have so much in common. I'm so happy to meet another Mythology lover. My favorite story is Pegasus. Plus I was just thinking of having coffee today in my Grams tea cup (I only have two & they stay in my glass case.. darn name escapes me its a corner glass cabinet( & I forgot to take it out this morning so now I'll have to do it tomorrow now that you've reminded me. LOL I hardly ever use it because of possible accidents. I love them so.

Oh my goodness, Donna, I have this set of china! It was my grandmother's, then my mother's and now...
It really is beautiful, but I rarely use it for fear of breaking. It will be passed on to my kids some day.

Such beautiful styling in each of these photos, and the color of the roses is absolutely gorgeous!
