Hi everyone,
It's tea time so please sit and enjoy a cup with me while we catch up.
I've brought out my princess pansy teapot blooming with lovely purple pansies. I just adore the scalloped detail.
Today I am sipping green tea and having a freshly baked banana muffin. Would you like a piece to nibble on?
Pansies are the first flowers I plant in the spring and they bloom all summer.
Their smiling faces add a touch of grace and joy throughout the garden.
Named after the French word for 'thought' (pensee), the pansy is said to be a charmed flower. Don't you agree?
Thank you for stopping to visit.

Love pansies and your very gorgeous teapot!! I also love the fact that you can eat them, I love their taste. Happy weekend to you lovely Donna xo
Hi Donna - as you know I still can't pop in very often with my pc problems - so I was very pleased I timed this visit to find this post - I love everything about it and your banana muffin looks delicious! I can't believe how closely your tea-set matches the real pansies and I think the meaning behind the name of the flower is wonderful. At first I thought your set was the same as one I inherited from my grandmother (which is very old) - but I see it is slightly different (although at a glance they could be one and the same). It is gorgeous!
Donna, sorry to get to you so late. What a beautiful tea and tea set. Love the purple.

Lovely! I wish I were there to invite myself to share!
What a pretty teas set, Donna! Here in Texas, we plant pansies in the Fall and they last through Spring, if the bunnies don't eat them! I have to put mine in planters to keep them up high and safe.
Beautiful tea and gorgeous teaset...I just adore porcelain tea sets as yours! Lovely pansies, as the color is always so pretty. Enjoy your summer.

Hi Donna,
Your pansy teapot and teacups are so beautiful! I love the sweet faces on the flowers and the fact they are usually the first flowers to buy in the spring. Thank you for sharing your lovely tea with me!
